Künstlerischer Werdegang
Seine Faszination für das Medium Fotografie hat ihren Ursprung bereits in früher Kindheit. Besuche in dem kleinen Fotolabor in der Drogerie seines Großvaters und eine Agfamatic 5008 marko pocket waren der Beginn einer langanhaltenden Leidenschaft. Seit 2003 lebt Lars Garten in Berlin und arbeitet seit 2005 ausschließlich mit Polaroidmaterial. Seit 2006 ist er mit den Serien „Snowland“, „Berlin Workspaces“ und „Raumpatroullie“ bei der Galerie „Polanoir“ (‚the first gallery worldwide exclusively dedicate to contemporary Polaroid art!) vertreten.
